Variation of thickness, internal structure and petrophysical properties in a deformation band fault zone in siliciclastic rocks

We studied the geometry and petrophysical properties of fault core damage zones a deformation band zone in arkosic sandstones Cretaceous Antenor Navarro Formation Rio do Peixe Basin, Brazil. The present work includes results from fieldwork laboratory measurements. performed structural, geometric, permeability measurements field. These were on longitudinal scanline along 18 orthogonal scanlines crossing both footwall hanging wall. Drone images taken field locality to study geometric relation between individual bands zone. Porosity, capillary pressure grain size analyses samples. is normal composed three linked segments, central E-W segment which hard-linked two NE-SW segments tipping toward east west.
